Before you can get licensed in massage therapy you have to undergo a lot of steps. First, you have to enroll in a massage therapy course and finish all the subjects required by it. Throughout the whole course, you will be tackling topics that will greatly help you once you begin practicing your profession. You will be taught by an experienced and licensed massage therapist and will be guided closely as you do your hands on experience.
Most massage therapy students have their first hand experience in free clinics. Customers who get their massage here do not need to fret since the students will be guided by licensed massage therapists as they apply what they have learned in class.
When the students graduate, they can now apply for a license and take an examination for it. If they pass the examination, they will then become a bona fide massage therapist!
