Expand Your Horizons with a National Massage Therapy License

When a student graduates from a massage therapy course, he or she could or could not choose to take a licensing examination. Some freelance massage therapists do not take these licensing exams since they practice their profession all on their own. They probably do house calls or have friends call for their massage services. If you want to expand your clientele, it would really be a big plus if you were a licensed massage therapist.
If you have studied your topics well during school, then taking the licensing exam wouldn’t probably be a problem. It might even be a cinch for you.
If you are about to take an examination, I would suggest that you take the exam which will make your license valid to practice in all the states. A Florida massage therapy license would only allow you to practice in Florida and a Texas massage therapy license would limit your practice in Texas. To make it more practical, take the national examination to be licensed in all states.
